Today was workout 16 of my MM100 workout program and let me just say it felt great and amazing. For as long as I can remember I have always disliked cardio workouts. I am not a fan of them because they make me tired too quickly and then I feel like I am in the worst shape ever. Well not today! I started my cardio workout like any other cardio workouts, not really looking forward to it but had the energy for it.

The warm ups were done modified because like I stated I’m not a fan of cardio and I wanted to save my energy for the real work. However, when it came to the jumping jacks I had fun and did them just to get my heart rate up and my body pumped for the workout. During the warm up I could feel my energy rising. I still wasn’t pleased with the fact that it was cardio but I was so ready for whatever was to come.
Block 1 is where I put my all in. I push through these workouts and I was determined to give my best. It was a high intensity interval workout that got me all hot, but I wasn’t sweating just yet. In this block I was a little winded but not as bad as I used to get. It made me feel proud. Made me feel like my body was stronger now and could handle so much more.
Meltdown Minute has always been my favorite part of these workouts. I like it because it gives you the opportunity to give your all at your own pace in one move only. This time it was my favorite move! Jumping the the air like that always makes me feel alive and amazing. It made me love this workout. Jericho calls it the BadA** Jump. I love the name and the move. It is one of those jumps that makes you feel happy and puts a smile on your face because you can do it! I did it to the fullest and smiled the whole time! That was my turning point, that jump made my mood turn around and end up loving my cardio workout today.

However, taking a picture of me doing that move is another story. I tried so many times but my phone just couldn’t capture it. Makes me want to get in iphone just so I can capture these awesome moments!
After that meltdown minute, my workout changed. I ended it strong and loved every minute of it. Block to was a repeat of block one just faster paced and lets just say I put my all in it. While in the middle of block one though I became winded enough that towards the end I had to modify some moves. But that is okay! Modifying moves still gives you a great workout and still get you sweaty!
In the end, my last picture shows the happiness and joy I got from my cardio workout! I am glad I joined this program and I want others to feel as I do. I want others to feel the happiness in things you never thought you’d enjoy, like cardio for me >.< Take that leap of faith and join me in this awesome journey!
